Project Description Betty Jean (BJ) turned her love for water
gardens, fish and flowers into her work from home based business. She uses a powerful shopping cart system with a lot of extra features and a newsletter based direct response
marketing program to generate repeat customer sales.
Betty Jean came to me back in 2002 originally to help her freshen up the look of her existing
Web site and rescue her from search engine purgatory. BettyJean had fallen victim to some bad advice by a ‘search engine expert’ that used some unfair ‘tricks’ to try to boost
BettyJean’s rankings. Well, things went horribly wrong and ‘BJ’ wound up with her site blacklisted and sales went right down the preverbal toilet. Her storefront was indeed a

she uses throughout the seasons to promote more business. Careful attention to the advertising budget and some well done search engine optimization also
earned her online pond and water garden storefront a first page position on Google.
